Prerequisite: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in Calculus, AP Calculus AB, or AP Calculus BC
Criteria for Enrollment: Approval of Department Chair, based on teacher recommendation, and previous performance in any level of precalculus.

This course will explore material that is typically reserved for college math majors. Students will be asked to go beyond the realm of algebraic manipulations and conventional symbols. They will learn to engage with new structures and formal logic. Topics include (but are not limited to) introductions to Set and Number Theory, Abstract and Linear Algebra, Cryptography, and Multivariable Calculus. This course is intended for students with an interest in mathematics beyond Calculus and provides an introduction to a variety of college courses.
